Abstract
The minimum knowledge, attitudes, skills and abilities that all graduates of the country’s medical schools must have are based on and presented. The need for undergraduate students to delve into frequent pathologies and/or high performance is emphasized, unlike those of specialist, in which only general information must be acquired. The importance of tutorial teaching and the importance of tutors are insisted on, and the need for time to train a doctor is reflected. The need to raise awareness in preventive medicine and the role of the socio-economic and cultural environment in which a patient becomes ill are mentioned. The importance of humanistic training and the acquisition of “soft skills” is highlighted.
